It is not bad when a working day ends with a scientific event, and if a cultural component is added, it gets a non-obtuse triangle for sure. It depends on the circumstances, of course. As mine led me to the so-called 'Bermudian Triangle' of the University of Sofia - the three faculties of mathematics, chemistry and physics placed in a close vicinity, this made me to un-disappear unlike the prototypical region in the Atlantic Ocean.

The first 'appearing' photo is made in the Faculty of Physics. The second one marks my successful passing by the Faculty of Chemistry when leaving the Zone just before it got dark.

It is available only in Bulgarian however the language of photography gives a glimpse on the field work. Although it took about a month, it marked my dissertation. And it wouldn't be possible without the support of my friends, some mentors and organisations - some help that I greatly appreciate.

Those who think that winter is the white season, are wrong. The night sky claims just the opposite and even icicles betrays thе cliche with their reflections of the limited amount of light. The whole geometry has shrunk to the simplest forms and the life has turned into a colourful dot, or two.

The thick snow cover hid my last optimistic publication but when I looked two meters above, I saw these branches and I remembered the smell of autumn grapes; and even the fresh leaves of spring. The soft coldness brought me back to the present moment just to let me dream of future.

The New Year snow and low temperatures gave up quickly and some signs of a better time appeared. In just a few days the budding snowdrops burst into blossom and despite the calendar this made me believe the spring is not so far.

This unusual early-morning getting up led me outside when it was still dark, and the positive temperatures warmed up my passion for hunting beautiful moments. At the crack of dawn I found myself in an alternative of Van Gogh's "Starry Night", and a few minutes after I was trapped by the sunrise and these crazy branches...
